Delia LaJeunesse Art Consulting

Art that carries the design further.

I work alongside interior designers as an art partner on the team, shaping the art direction with you so the project resolves as a cohesive whole.

Modern bathroom with a marble vanity, large mirror, wall sconces, and a textured gray wall art piece.

My process is seamless for your studio, and deeply personal for your client. I guide each client through a structured, approachable experience that adds depth, distinction, and a stronger sense of identity to every space. I have no stake in which artist the work comes from, so every recommendation answers to your design and your client.

My role is to make the finished project stronger, and to do it without adding to your workload or disrupting your process.

Your clients’ art selection should be as distinctive as they are.

Living room with a black leather chair, a white fireplace, a framed landscape painting on the wall, a small wooden stool, a window with a potted plant, and a light-colored rug.

I guide clients through a curation process tailored to each client's lifestyle and your design aesthetic, presenting work that enhances your design vision while resonating personally with your clients.

I bring a clear point of view on what the art should do in each space, with selections that hold their own alongside the architecture and furnishings. Behind that, I handle sourcing, negotiation, logistics, and installation.

“The best projects come from assembling the right specialists, and as an interior designer with discerning clients, this is critical. Delia has access and depth in the art world that comes from doing this exclusively. On a Hamptons home we worked on together, she shaped the art direction alongside me, so it reads as one cohesive vision with the interiors. It's a collaboration that elevates the final project for everyone. I highly recommend her.”

“I’m so glad I hired Delia to work with me and my clients on procuring some stunning pieces for their primary suite. Everything she sourced spoke to places my clients had traveled to as a family. I was really impressed with her process and timeline; she was both thorough and expedient, which is hard to do! I look forward to partnering with Delia again on future projects.”

From concept to install

As an art partner on your team, I'm involved from the first design conversations through installation, bringing a curatorial point of view at every stage. Priority sourcing and installation coordination come with it.

This structure is designed for design firms that see art as a central emotional anchor of exceptional interiors. I manage the complexities of art acquisition while equipping you with client-facing materials like art budgets and presentation decks branded with your studio’s identity. This positions art as an essential investment, not an afterthought, while I handle all the details behind the scenes.

I guide clients in living with and appreciating their art, ensuring the investment enhances their daily experience. My approach transforms common client hesitations around art budgets into informed enthusiasm for acquiring works, completing the emotional narrative of each space.

Curatorial Consultation for Designers

Modern office room with a black desk, a computer, framed photos, a black lounge chair, and a textured wall art piece with small white, gray, and blue blocks. Open shelves display awards or collectibles, and there is a contemporary circular ceiling light.

Not every project calls for full-scale curatorial support, sometimes you need clarity, direction, or a trusted sounding board.

These consultation hours are meant for interior designers who want targeted, expert guidance around art sourcing, strategy, or client communication about art, without committing to a full curatorial engagement. In a focused one-hour session, we can work through a specific project, room, or challenge together.

Designers use this time to:

  • Sense-check art direction for a space

  • Explore sourcing paths aligned with a client’s budget and values

  • Identify artist categories, markets, or acquisition strategies

  • Navigate client hesitation around art decisions or investment

  • Get unstuck and move a project forward with confidence

This offering is intentionally concise and practical. I share resources, frameworks, and recommendations you can act on immediately, grounded in the same curatorial rigor that defines my full-service work.

Curatorial Consultations are ideal as a standalone support option, an interim solution, or a first point of connection before deeper collaboration.
